Seun Kuti, the youngest son of legendary Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, has taken to Facebook to express his thoughts towards people who now parade themselves as lovers of Fela, but despised and hypocritically addressed the late Afrobeat king when he was alive.
Seun’s message attacked those who had initially called him the son of a womaniser and the son of a Marijuana smoker.
He also took on those who are too young to have experienced Fela but claim to love the man.
“Let me tell u a fact, if u are 33 and below u definitely did not see Fela or come to the Shrine or Kalakuta! If you haven’t read his book you don’t understand him,” Kuti wrote on his Facebook page
